MR compatible incubator for neonates

For imaging the premature neonate brain MR is a versatile tool. Despite its usefulness, its utility is extremely limited for imaging sick patients in the NICU, because of the challenges in the life support of the infant during MR examination.

The goal of LMT Lammers Medical Technology is to build a MR compatible incubator that will allow safe movement between the NICU and MRI section and to integrate head coils capable to routine clinical MR examinations of ill neonates.
