"The use of MRI incubator system LMT nomag IC 1.5 is a unique opportunity for accurate diagnostics of different premature and newborn babies' pathologies in the early stages. The use of MRI technology, together with LMT nomag IC 1.5 with integrated neonatal coil for early diagnostics of central nervous system (CNS) pathologies for these patients allows us to diagnose perinatal CNS affection. The integrated neonatal coil allows us to receive high quality MRI images. This is especially important when diagnosing conditions such as congenital degenerative brain and skull changes, hypoxic- ischemic and hemorrhagic CNS lesions, brain injury associated with congenital intracranial infections and many others CNS pathologies. One of the most important things is the microclimate that the incubator system creates during an examination. Temperature and humidity inside the incubator were maintained according to the baby's needs and monitored constantly. Examinations were carried out with Philips Intera Achieva 1.5T MRI system. The use of new equipment in our hospital demonstrates that MRI examinations can be successfully conducted with the incubator system LMT nomag IC 1.5. This system ensures controlled temperature, oxygen and humidity levels without the loss of operational quality of MRI examinations."
