"The MR compatible incubator has been a wonderful addition to our MR service at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. We are now able to image premature and newborn infants safely and with superb high resolution images.

For the first time we are able to detect small foci of coagulation necrosis in the unmyelinated white matter of these infants. These foci usually are not seen on cranial ultrasound exams until they are large enough to either cavitate or hemorrhage.

Using the small diameter head coils in a 1.5 Tesla MR system, we are getting 3 Tesla signal to noise without the 3 Tesla artifacts.

We are very pleased with the lightweight design and ease of handling. The incubator has been very reliable and consistent in performance.
